#SupernaturalSunday – Apologies!

That’s not creepy at all, right? How can you not love that face? Sorry, Supernatural fans. This week, life got in the way and somehow I completely forgot my blog. 😦 i blame season 6 of Supernatural since there was a marathon on TNT all day Friday and I got distracted by it and somehow, forgot I hadn’t written my blog yet. Yesterday, I participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, which was an amazing experience. I was so busy getting ready for that and then, shopping for my daughter’s birthday, the blog slipped my mind again yesterday. 😦 Again, I apologize. Today, my six-year-old daughter is home with me all day and I don’t feel comfortable watching this episode with her around (since it  scares me and all). Plus, I really wanted to put a lot of thought into this one since several new characters are introduced and we’re dealing with the aftermath of Dad’s death. So, I will work on a more detailed post for later. I feel terrible. Here are some gifs to ease the pain.

#SleepyHollow Episode 2 – BLOOD MOON

I’ll admit Sleepy Hollow has its problems but I am still loving the new show. I worried after how excited I was when the show premiered that the second episode might not live up to the hype. But I am still hooked. It may have something to do with this in the opening minutes.

Also, can we discuss how awesome this poster is?

I realized I didn’t include a pic of Katrina last week. She’s gorgeous, like girl-crush worthy. She will be in this post. 😉 So let’s get into it…**Spoilers ahead** Read the rest of this entry

#SupernaturalSunday – Season 2, Episode 1 IN MY TIME OF DYING

Happy Supernatural Sunday! 🙂 I’m excited to get started on season 2. I haven’t watched these episodes quite as many times as season 1. 😉

We begin season 2 right where season 1 left off: in the mangled wreckage of Dean’s baby, the Impala. The guy driving the 18-wheeler that hit them has black eyes — he’s been possessed. Sam drives him away with The Colt to protect his family. The demon skedaddles and the trucker calls for help when he realizes what he’s done.

I don’t get it. The Bible tells us how to avoid war and shame those who fight. Why don’t we take the advice? I’ll tell you why. Because the advice calls for us to get naked. And not in a Biblical way, if you know what I mean. I mean naked. Naked as the day you’re born naked. Nude. Stripped of all clothing. Half mast, full mast, nipples erect naked. Sleepy Hollow

Were you one of the 10 million Americans who watched the premiere of this creepy new show on Fox? I’ll admit I have to watch since it’s filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina, my birthplace and setting for most of my books. 😉 The pilot was filmed in Salisbury, NC, but the series is in Wilmington. Anyway, I’ve always been somewhat fascinated with the Sleepy Hollow legend. Loved the Johnny Depp-Christina Ricci movie. You just have to love that “Heads will roll” tagline, which the series also borrows. Brilliant. **some spoilers**

The new show stars Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane and Nicole Beharie as Abbie Mills, a local cop. Read the rest of this entry

#SupernaturalSunday – Season 1, Episode 22 DEVIL’S TRAP

The end of season one – can you believe it? I’m grateful for those who have stuck with us and are enjoying reliving the first season of the greatest show ever! 🙂

We begin where SALVATION left off, with Meg telling Dean he’ll never see Dad again. Sam wants to stay in Salvation and wait for the demons to come for them, for the fight. Dean says they’re not ready and they’re leaving NOW. He thinks they want to trade The Colt for their dad. Sam still wants to “work the case” but Dean says, “Everything stops until we find Dad.” They agree on one thing: they need help. Enter the most beloved character on Supernatural who doesn’t have the last name Winchester: Bobby!!

Genesis 19

Back on July 25 I posted a story about Lot and his horny daughters. If you want to know the story, click the link but long story short – he impregnated his daughters.

#SupernaturalSunday – Season 1, Episode 21 – SALVATION

Happy Supernatural Sunday! This week, Meg’s back again! Gotta love her.

We also begin the episode with the first season montage to the tune of “Carry On My Wayward Son.” ❤ This will become a Supernatural tradition us die-hard fans always look forward to.

The episode opens in a church where the pastor is alone when Meg comes in. You know this probably isn’t going to go well. The pastor is Winchester family friend Pastor Jim.

Supernatural Sunday – Season 1, Episode 20 DEAD MAN’S BLOOD

Guess what?! This week’s Supernatural is about vampires!! I am not personally a fan of the bloodsuckers. I was back in the day with The Lost Boys (dating myself) but since then? Nope. However, I love what the Supernatural folks did with them. They made them sexy. They have retractable fangs. How cool is that? This episode also gives us a badass new weapon that will play a role for many seasons to come: The Colt. Strap yourselves in and get ready for some vamps.

We begin with this guy in Manning, Colorado:

Daniel_Elkinsnewcap

Daniel Elkins. Turns out he’s another hunter and a bit of a recluse. A group of sexy, loud young people come into the bar where Mr. Elkins is hanging out. When he sees them, he hurries back to his house, frequently looking over his shoulder. That group of 20s-ish people were vampires and they’re already in Elkins’ house.
